Paranjape’s Upcoming Bhugaon Towers Add to Pune West Pipeline

Paranjape adds two Bhugaon towers to Pune West plans

Paranjape Schemes Construction Limited announced plans for two residential towers in Bhugaon as part of a wider set of upcoming Pune West projects. The company’s March 2026 announcement grouped the Bhugaon proposal with two towers on Sinhgad Road and one in Hinjewadi Phase 1, making five towers across the pipeline.

The overall pipeline is expected to represent nearly 1,400 residential units and more than 1.75 million sq. ft. of residential development potential. A separate report put investment at approximately ₹700 crore for four residential projects in Pune. The figures describe the broader programme, not the Bhugaon towers alone. The Bhugaon project is listed as Upcoming, and the related project page is Paranjape Schemes Bhugaon Pune.

The details

The Bhugaon proposal is a residential development in the Paud Road area of Pune. The March announcement presented the projects as upcoming festive-season offerings across Pune West. It also described the wider set of schemes as combining modern amenities, connectivity and lifestyle-focused planning, without naming specific facilities for the Bhugaon towers.

  • Project: Paranjape Schemes Bhugaon Pune
  • Developer: Paranjape Schemes Construction Limited
  • Location: Bhugaon, Paud Road area, Pune
  • Status: Upcoming
  • Bhugaon component: two towers
  • Wider Pune West pipeline: five towers across Bhugaon, Sinhgad Road and Hinjewadi Phase 1
  • Overall pipeline: nearly 1,400 residential units and over 1.75 million sq. ft. of development potential

The unit and development totals apply to the combined pipeline; the two-tower Bhugaon share is not separately quantified. The announcement does not provide a launch date for the Bhugaon development. Its figures therefore describe planned development rather than completed or handed-over homes.

The location

Bhugaon sits along the Pune–Paud Road corridor, which runs from Paud Phata through Kothrud and Bavdhan Khurd towards Bhugaon. The area is also connected to Bavdhan and Kothrud through its proximity to Chandani Chowk. These routes place the locality within Pune’s western movement network, while the project announcement identifies Bhugaon as one of the locations in the developer’s Pune West plans.

PMPML bus services connect the wider corridor with destinations including Pirangut, Mulshi, Paud, Kothrud, Deccan, Swargate and Pune Station. Vanaz is on Pune Metro’s Aqua Line. A proposed extension from Vanaz towards Chandani Chowk would add another public-transport link to the western corridor; the extension’s completion date has not been set in the cited project context. Road improvements between Chandani Chowk and Bhugaon and a proposed Bhugaon bypass are also associated with the area’s future connectivity.

The developer

Paranjape Schemes was established in 1989 and has developed residential and commercial projects across nine cities, including Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Vadodara. The company’s reported portfolio exceeds 20 million sq. ft. and includes more than 200 projects. In Pune, its best-known large-scale developments include Blue Ridge, a township of approximately 138 acres with residential towers and office buildings, and Forest Trails.

The developer has also had a longstanding presence in Bhugaon. A separate township plan announced in 2014 covered a 150-acre land parcel and included apartments, villas, senior homes, a school and neighbourhood retail. That earlier project is distinct from the two towers in the current Pune West pipeline.

What comes next

The March 2026 announcement sets out the Bhugaon towers as part of a planned programme of residential development across Pune West. The next milestone for the wider story is the projects’ progression from announcement to launch. The announcement identified the locations and combined pipeline scale, while leaving the Bhugaon proposal at the Upcoming stage.
